Today is the last day that we are full-time residents in Milwaukee. It is a bittersweet ending to a dynamic chapter in our lives.

Without a doubt, Milwaukee will be held in a special place in our hearts. We found so much in our nearly 5 years here: our marriage, our friendship, our health, our purpose, our daughter, our humanity, our friends…

While we are both looking forward to being closer to family and the next chapter in St Louis, I am sad to be saying goodbye to this great city.

I will miss the times we returned to Milwaukee after travels, always one of us saying how we loved coming back home. I guess I can only say a quote from one of my favorite philosophers:

“Ta-ta for now!”
