Acure Shampoo

Acure’s list of ingredients sometimes read like a graduate level Latin course, but it’s just that they use the scientific name for each of the ingredients. You can rest assured that they only use 100 percent organic, ethically-sourced ingredients.  And in an industry full of products made with parabens, SLS, phthalates, and synthetic everything, that’s a nice reprieve to see. The shampoo and conditioners are biodegradable, are shipped in recyclable bottles and packaging, and they use organic ingredients when possible.

Acure says that they “believe that products should be pure, simple, and effective in order to help your hair and skin perform optimally.” Agreed.

Lately, we’ve been using the Argan and Lemongrass shampoo, but there are many other varieties for scent and botanical benefit.
The Peppermint and Echinacea is really nice as well as the Pear and Fig. Whichever shampoo you choose, there is a complementing Acure Conditioner to pair with it.

The echinacea stem cells help with volume and body, while the argan oil and quinoa extracts provide moisture and nutrients for the scalp.  A little will go a long way with this shampoo – no need to use half a bottle per wash.

Amazon carries the full line of Acure products, as does Thrive Marketplace. We’ve also seen many of Acure’s products in Whole Foods and other retailers. They also make skin care and body care products – we haven’t tested those out yet, but don’t see any glaring reasons not to try those too.
